Schedule Update: Penn and Cornell Face Common Opponents

Cornell faced Duke at Cameron Indoor Stadium during January 2008.

Although Penn has yet to formally release its schedule, the Quakers will play non-conference games at Duke and Penn State and will also face its usual City Six opponents--- with a visit to Villanova and home games against Temple, St. Joeseph’s, La Salle and Drexel. Penn is also slated to face Delaware, Navy and Monmouth.

The Duke game is rumored to be on December 31st. Unfortunately for Duke, the majority of the Cameron Crazies will not be in attendance as Duke's students will be home for the holiday break. So Cameron Indoor Stadium should be a bit quieter than normal.

While Cornell won't face Duke this season, the Big Red have some common nonconference opponents with the Quakers. Like Penn, Cornell will face St. Joseph's, La Salle, and Drexel this season.

Cornell's Jeff Foote slammed a pair of dunks home against the Blue Devils of Duke during January 2008. Duke's Kyle Singler and Greg Paulus had front row seats.
