Recruiting News: Visits, Visits, Visits

MinnesotaPreps.com reports the seven-footer Jake Kreuser will visit Saint Louis of the A-10 and Cornell during September. Rick Majerus has already offered a scholarship as have schools such as Santa Clara, Wisconsin Green Bay, and North Dakota State.

Seven footer, Matt Lopez of Washington, New Jersey told NJHoops.com the he considered offers from Buffalo, UNCG, West Virginia, Cornell, Old Dominion, William & Mary, and Delaware before committing to La Salle. He was also getting looks from Siena.

Rod Odom, a 6'8" forward from the Middlesex School has lined up three Big East visits according to SNY’s Adam Zagoria. He will check out West Virginia this Sunday, travel to UConn on September 3rd, and Louisville on the 5th. He visited Harvard, Princeton and Columbia several times each.

New England Recruiting Report (NERR) notes that Northfield Mount Hermon's (NMH) 6'5" Laurent Rivard took a trip to the University of Vermont this past Wednesday and then split Friday between Holy Cross and Northeastern with a trip to Brown scheduled for Saturday according to his Expressions Elite coach Jason Elliott. He’ll also be heading to Davidson, Bucknell, and Elon. Rivard is getting recruited by most of the Ivy League, including Cornell.

NMH head coach John Carroll tells NERR that 6'2" point guard Joe Sharkey has been to Holy Cross, Brown, and Columbia so far this month. Sharkey is getting recruited by most of the Ivy League, including Cornell.

Hector Harold,a 6'8" wing from NMH got a look at Pepperdine before returning to the east coast. Harold is getting recruited by most of the Ivy League, including Cornell.

Chris Fitzgerald, a 6'8" forward from NMH has visited, or will visit in the near future, both Brown and Cornell while incoming NMH star Aaron Cosby has trips to Pittsburgh and Indiana on tap.

Ryan Romich, a 6'6" wing out of Groton Dunstable School in Groton, Mass. will visit Iona and Colgate this month. He already visited Cornell.
