Recruiting News (updated 6:30 p.m.)

Below... a dosage of recruiting news from around the Ivy League.

ChicagoHoops.com is reporting that Harvard has now jumped into the recruiting mix with Bloomington, Illinois' and Central Catholic's Hayden Hoerdemann. Hoerdemann is expected to be on campus at Southern Illinois University this coming Sunday He is a 6'3" shooting guard.

MinnesotaPreps.com reports that 6'7" Clay Horne of St. Paul and Cretin-Derham Hall High School has interest from Cornell, Drake, Northern Iowa, Western Illinois, Denver, UW-Milwaukee, North Dakota State, Eastern Kentucky, Mount St. Mary, and Quinnipiac. Hartford and Minnesota State (D-II) have offered scholarships.

Matt Lopez, a 6'10" p0st player from Washington Township, New Jersey told Northstar Basketball that he is hearing from Cornell, UNC-Greensboro, La Salle, West Virginia, Penn State, Buffalo, Cornell, Holy Cross, and Delaware. Of those, UNC-Greensboro, La Salle, Buffalo, Holy Cross, and Delaware have offered. UNC-Greensboro and La Salle are his top two, while West Virginia, Penn State, and Buffalo—not in order—round out his top five.

Robbie Lemons, a 6'3" guard from the Sacramento Country Day School in California reports to NJHoops.com that he has
taken unofficial visits to Stanford, Yale and UPenn. Lafayette and Yale are recruiting him the hardest.
