Several college basketball websites regularly publish preseason rankings in the form of a daily or weekly countdown to No. 1.For example, last season CollegeHoopsNet.com ranked Cornell No. 89 in the nation in its preseason daily Top 144 countdown. Meanwhile, TheHoopsReport.com ranked Cornell No. 41 in its preseason ranking of the nation's Top 65.
In both rankings, Cornell was the only Ivy League team ranked.
