The Cornell Basketball Blog received a tip from a source close to the situation that 6'8" perimeter oriented forward, Kevin Panzer of Capistrano Valley HS in Mission Viejo, California has committed to Penn. Panzer had narrowed his choices to Penn, Gonzaga and Colorado before selecting the Quakers. Our source reports that Panzer is considered a "big time get" for the Quakers. He had offers from Colorado and San Diego and was receiving interest from Gonzaga and Cal.
He is Penn's third class of 2010 commitment.
