There were a few noteworthy changes on Ivy League rosters during the offseason. At Brown, 6'9" Morgan Kelly, who appeared in 22 games for the Bears has been dropped from the official roster. Also, Noel Hollingsworth, a 6'9" forward, transferred to MIT.

While we previously reported that rising senior guard, Robby Pride had been dropped off Dartmouth's roster, his name reappeared on the official roster within the last week.

Below we provide anticipated roster sizes for each of the respective Ivy League teams for the 2009-2010 and 2010-2011 seasons. In addition, we include the number of seniors in their final year of eligibility during 2009-2010 as well as for 2010-2011.

With an anticipated 2009-2010 roster size of 21 players, Cornell has more players than any other Ivy League team in the upcoming season. But with 9 Cornell players entering their final year of eligibility, the Big Red expect to return the fewest number of veterans in the league for the 2010-2011 season. Just 12 players are scheduled to remain in the program for the 2010-2011 season and of those, three will be seniors in 2010-2011. In short, there is an abundant amount of playing time for new recruits and returning players.

The most overloaded rosters in the Ivy League appear to be Columbia and Harvard. The Lions will carry 18 players this season, then return 15 for 2010-2011 of which only 3 are seniors. Thus, the Lions already have 12 players pegged for the 2011-2012 roster.

Harvard will carry a roster of 16 player this season, but of the 12 players expected to return for 2010-2011, none will be seniors. In short, Harvard already has 12 players on its 2011-2012 roster before adding recruits in the high school classes of 2010 and 2011.
