Recruiting News

Pictured above, Cornell's Alex Tyler battles for a loose ball at Indiana's Assembly Hall last season. Below, just a couple of late additions to our recruiting news for today...

Keegan Hyland, a 6'6" forward from Portland, Maine told KeepMECurrent.com that he currently has nine scholarship offers on the table, including the University of Rhode Island, Maine, Fordham and William and Mary. Several Ivy League schools have offered him a spot on their rosters as well. He said he’s talking with about 40 schools all together. Some Big East and Atlantic Coast Conference teams have recently shown interest, and with the Division I recruiting season picking up steam, Hyland said where he ends up “all really depends on how it goes this summer... I want to go where I can play. He added, “I’d like it to be at the highest level possible, but if I’m not going to get minutes there, I’d rather go down to like an (Atlantic 10) level and have a good career there. It’s great basketball there, too, and you have a chance to make the tournament, be in the Top-25 in the country.”

Devin Ginty, a 6'2" guard with the University of San Diego told the Colfax Record that he contacted several Ivy League schools about the possibility of transferring, but ultimately decided to remain with USD.
