Below is some Ivy League recruiting news out of the Hoop Group's Elite Camp this week...Theo Boyomo, a 6'9" center from the Kent School in Connecticut said he is hearing from Yale, Dartmouth, Columbia, Brown, Indiana, Texas A&M, Rhode Island, UMass, Northeastern, Quinnipiac, and Stony Brook. He already has a scholarship offer from Canisius.
Da’Mon Brooks, a 6'6" wing from Hopewell, North Carolina said he is hearing from Cornell, Wright State, Colgate, George Mason, Clemson, Mount St. Mary’s, Navy, and Western Carolina. He said he does not have a favorite among his college suitors but said his dream school would be “Villanova or somewhere in the Big East. " He has offers from Colgate, Navy, and Western Carolina.
Lione Gomis, a 6'8" member of the class of 2011 from Blair Academy in Blairstown, NJ said he is hearing from Princeton, Stanford, Davidson, and Delaware. While he would like to hear from Virginia, his top choice school among his current suitors is Davidson.
Ryan Romich, a 6'5" wing from Groton Dunstable High School in Massachusetts said he is hearing from Brown, Princeton, Colgate, Albany, Holy Cross, Bucknell, Army, and Boston University.
