Cornell Basketball in the News

The PressOfAtlanticCity.com writes about the Legends Classic coming to A.C. The Press writes:
Florida, Michigan State, Rutgers and UMass to compete at Boardwalk Hall.

Boardwalk Hall is getting another basketball tournament. The historic venue will host The Legends Classic, a basketball tournament featuring some top programs around the country, which will be held Thanksgiving weekend, several news websites reported.

The teams include Michigan State, Rutgers, Florida and Massachusetts as the four regional hosts for the tournament and will compete Nov. 28-29. Fans can purchase tickets starting on Friday. Get more information here.

There are several other schools participating in the Legends Classic, but the format is that the four host schools advance to the semifinal round in Atlantic City. Regional round games are held Nov. 18-22 on campus sites, which includes Cornell.

The Gazelle Group, which is running the tournament, is a sports marketing group runs several tournaments throughout the country, including the College Basketball Invitational. You can check here for more events that the Gazelle Group has thrown.
