Recruiting News

Below some recruiting news from around the Ivy League...

Greg Kelley, a 6'8" Yale commit from Newton, Massachusetts told Boston.com that Yale wasn't even on his radar as a possible college choice in April. Heading into the summer, his short list consisted of Harvard, Cornell, Holy Cross, Davidson, Richmond, and Vermont.

TexasHoops.com reports that 6'8" Nick Hinton of Wakeland HS in Frisco, Texas is hearing from most of the Ivy League, although he holds more than a half dozen scholarship offers already, including from schools such as Utah and Tulsa.

Ryan Romich, a 6'5" wing from Groton Dunstable High School in Massachusetts said he is hearing from Brown, Princeton, Colgate, Albany, Holy Cross, Bucknell, Army, and Boston University. He left the Hoop Group Elite camp with a scholarship offer from Colgate.

Dominic Morris, a physical 6'7" forward from the Friends Central School in Pennsylvania reports offers from Harvard, Hartford, Howard, Penn State, Rider, Robert Morris, and Siena.

Chris Santo, a 6'4" wing from Cherry Hill East HS in Cherry Hill, NJ says he is hearing from Penn and Princeton, as well as from Lafayette, Vermont, La Salle, Temple and St. Joseph's.
