Roster Report: Forward Looking to 2010-2011

A few months ago The Cornell Basketball Blog examined what the Big Red's roster might look like during the 2010-2011 campaign. Below is an updated sneak preview following some recent recruiting commitments.

We note that while Cornell's current senior class of 2009 is certainly the core of the Big Red's last two consecutive Ivy League Championship and NCAA Tournament squads, followers of Ivy League basketball would be ill-advised to write off Cornell's 2010-2011 team.



The Big Red will be in the 2010-2011 title hunt. In addition to transfers Mark Coury (Kentucky), Max Groebe (UMass), and Anthony Gatlin (Centenary), all potential All-Ivy League selections, the Big Red are also bolstered by key components from the 2008-2009 Ivy League Championship team, including Chris Wroblewski (the 2009 Ivy League Rookie of the Year) and Adam Wire.
