Report from Practice

Below, some notes from Cornell's opening practices from some observants.

"What stuck out to me is how 'big' alot of the guys got since the end of last season, Chris "Wrobo" Wroblewski, Adam Wire, Ryan Wittman, Jeff Foote, everybody put on weight and muscle. Alex Tyler looked like a bull in a china shop, he was not backing down to Jeff Foote in the post. Same for Mark Coury, those two (Tyler and Coury) will beat on each other in practice all year. Freshman Miles Asafo-Adjei, like Louis Dale is jet quick. In pressing situations watch out. I don't know how Blue Ribbon Yearbook can only give us one first teamer on their list, but who cares bout preseason picks anyway. Next week's Red vs. White Game will let the fans aget chance to see a bit of Cornell. What they will see is that the Big Red are absolutely loaded with talent. If the chemistry is there too [this team will be tough to stop]."

"Errick Peck looks like a baller."

"Anthony Gatlin is a great athlete. In fact, all of the transfers [Anthony Gatlin, Mark Coury, and Max Groebe] are immediate impact types. Good thing we have those guys for a few years."
