Big Red Visit Intimidating Arenas During '09-'10

After listing the Syracuse Carrier Dome as No. 6 among the nation's top 25 most intimidating home basketball venues, the Bleacher Report.com ranks Kansas' Allen Fieldhouse as No. 2.

Cornell visits Syracuse on November 24 and Kansas on January 6. Other difficult road trips for Cornell include games at Alabama, UMass, and La Salle. The Big Red also face Davidson and possibly St. John's in Madison Square Garden, while hosting Seton Hall and St. Joseph's in Ithaca.

Cornell's "easiest" games on the 2009-2010 schedule are not all that easy. The Big Red make trips to South Dakota (picked by many to win the Great West Conference), Bucknell, and Drexel, while facing Toledo and Vermont on a neutral floor. The Big Red also host Bryant, Clarkson and PSU-Behrend.

With respect to Syracuse, BleacherReport.com writes:
It’s never easy to go on the road in college basketball. This is a top 25 breakdown of some of the toughest and most intimidating venues in college basketball... its capacity of over 33,000 fans for basketball is why the Carrier Dome is one of the toughest places to play in the country... There will be plenty of tough teams coming to the Carrier Dome this season, as there are each and every year. The likes of Big East powers Georgetown, Connecticut, Louisville, and Villanova all pay a visit to the Carrier Dome, as well as non-conference matchups against potential Ivy League favorite Cornell and an early January game with the Memphis Tigers.
In reference to Allen Fieldhouse, BleacherReport.com writes:

As for Allen Fieldhouse, you can be assured it will see plenty of excitement this season. With visits from Michigan and Cornell, as well as an anticipated non-conference matchup against Cal, “The Phog” will be buzzing early. Visits from Big 12 rivals Missouri, Baylor, Kansas State, and Oklahoma highlight what should be an exciting home conference schedule.
