Errick Peck's Big Summer

Welcome to the Errick Peck Big Summer Big Red Spectacular. The 6'6" forward from Indianapolis and future member of the Cornell Big Red spent most of his prep career playing in the low post for the Cathedral High School Fighting Irish. Since the conclusion of Cathedral's season, however, Peck has earned invites to numerous all-star games and has wowed his audience with his athleticism, skill set and ability to play multiple positions on the floor, including out on the perimeter.

Peck started his offseason by playing on April 5 in Indiana's North-South All Star Game. He also earned an invitation but did not participate in the George Hill City vs. County All Star Game held on April 18. Instead, Peck played in the arguably more competitive, Eric Gordon Super Shootout City vs. County All Star Game during which he finished with 22 points (including nailing four three-pointers) and won the event's slam dunk contest. But Peck was just getting warmed up.

Earning his fourth all-star game invitation, Peck joined the Indiana All Star Team for the Indiana vs. Kentucky All Star Classic, a two game series between the States' top players.

On an Indiana roster loaded with "high major" Division I talent, Peck led all scorers with 19 points (9/12 shooting) and collected 6 rebounds on June 9 vs. the State's top juniors in a preparation exhibition game leading up to the clash with the Kentucky All Stars.

Peck followed his June 9 performance with a 17 point effort in a rematch with the juniors. on June 11 Once again, Peck led all scorers, finishing 7/11 from the field, including 2/2 on three-point shooting and adding a rim rocking dunk in transition.

Finally, on June 13, Peck earned MVP honors in the first of two games against the Kentucky All-Stars after he finished with 16 points, 12 rebounds and 3 blocks, all team highs.

Peck plays in the second game against the Kentucky All Stars today.
