Schedule Update: Cornell to Participate in the Nation's Top Ranked Multi Game Preseason Tournament

CollegeHoopsVideo.com ranks the Legends Classic's field as the 4th best college basketball preseason tournament of the 2009-2010 season. Cornell is a Legends Classic participant along with a loaded field including: Michigan State, Florida, UMass, Rutgers, Vermont, Drexel, Toledo, Valparaiso, Georgia Southern, Troy State and one other team to be announced.

Ranked ahead of the Legends Classic are the ACC-Big 10 Challenge, the Big 12/Pac 10 Hardwood Series and the SEC/Big East Invitational. But in these tournaments, participants play only one game. The Legends Classic is the top ranked tournament wherein participants play in multiple games.

Ranked behind the Legends Classic among the Top 10 tournaments are the Cancun Challenge, the Puerto Rico Tip-Off, the Paradise Jam, the Maui Invitational, the 76 Classic, the Basketball Hall of Fame Classic and the John Wooden Showcase.

Cornell is the only Ivy League school participating in one of these prestigious Top 10 tournaments.
