In scheduling news, Harvard becomes the fourth Ivy school to release its 2009-2010 schedule. Yale, Brown and Princeton previously released their schedules.
The Harvard Crimson opted to go with a rather soft schedule instead of challenging themselves following a winning campagin during 2008-2009. The Crimson get tough games at UConn, Georgetown and Boston College, but the rest of schedule is filled mostly with mid to low major programs, the best of which are George Washington, Holy Cross, Rice, William & Mary, Boston University and Santa Clara. Cupcakes include Seattle U, Bryant, MIT and Army.

Columbia is now selling men's basketball season tickets. The Lions expect to host 13 games.
Cornell's roster will feature one red-shirt this season. Anthony Gatlin, a transfer from Division I Centenary College (Summit League) must sit out the 2009-2010 season per NCAA transfer regulations. Gatlin played in 13 games last season for the Centenary Gents where he played at least 20 minutes. In those 13 games of 20+ minutes, he averaged 28.7 minutes while posting 8.5 points and 4.1 rebounds per game. In the 4 games where he played at least 30 minutes, he averaged 13.5 points and 6.0 rebounds. On the season, Gatlin shot 41% from the floor and 38% from beyond the arc.
Gatlin retains two years of eligibility commencing the 2010-2011 season.
