Below, some recruiting news from around the Ivy League. Above, Cornell's Jeff Foote in action during the 2009 NCAA Tournament. Sources are reporting that Foote has now bulked up to 260 lbs and is looking "enormous" for the upcoming season.

Brice Kofane, a 6'8" 220 lb. forward from the Miller School in Charlottesville, Virginia told ViriginaPreps.com, "I have offers from a lot of Mid-Major schools like Fairfield, Harvard, and East Tennessee State. Schools like Wake Forest, Boston College, and UConn told me they really want me to be part of their program." Kofane is a member of the class of 2011.

Scout.com reports that 6'1" Joey Gripper, a point guard from the Abington Friends School is visiting Davidson this week. Scout reports that if Davidson offers, Gripper will commit. Penn and Harvard are both recruiting Gripper.

James Herring, a 6'4" postgrad shooting guard attending Phillips Exeter in Exeter, New Hampshire told NYCHoopsNet.com, "Because of my strong grades and SAT score, I have a lot of Ivy and Patriot League attention", he said. "I've received recurring interest from Dartmouth, as well as Columbia, Cornell and Brown. At the end of the season, I should have Lehigh and Bucknell showing some interest as well."
