Stable Leadership on the Big Red Bench

Cornell's coaching staff is the hallmark of stability within the Ivy League. The entire coaching staff has deep rooted connections to Cornell, the Ivy League and the Ithaca area.

Steve Donahue, The Robert E. Gallagher '44 Head Coach of Cornell Men's Basketball has coached basketball in the Ivy League for two decades, longer than any other coach in the conference. He assumed the role as Cornell's head coach during September 2000. Prior to his current position, he served as an assistant coach and recruiting coordinator at Penn for 10 years.

Nat Graham is in his fifth year as an assistant coach at Cornell under head coach Steve Donahue. Graham played basketball three seasons at Penn when Donahue was an assistant coach with the Quakers.

Cornell assistant coach, Woody Kampmann, is a 2005 graduate of nearby Hobart College. He enters his third season as an assistant coach for the Big Red. Kampmann joined the Cornell coaching staff after spending the 2006-07 season as an assistant coach at Hobart under Izzi Metz, a former assistant himself under Donahue at Cornell.

Finally, Cornell's third assistant, Kevin App is a graduate of Cornell and a former player under Steve Donahue.
