• The excellent NJABC AAU basketball program writes, "Cornell is for real after knocking off a few tough teams. Watch out for them in March. Great potential."

• Harvard assistant basketball coach, Yanni Hufnagel, as well as the Harvard Crimson student newspaper and the Harvard radio station, all quote ESPN's Andy Katz's statement, "Yes, Cornell will have company this year." Hufnagel adds, "When was the last time 2 Ivy League teams were in the [RPI] top 50? Cornell 36, Harvard 45."

• Philly.com's Jon Tannenwald tweets regarding Fordham's head coaching search, "I have no idea if there's interest on either side but I would not be surprised to see Cornell coach Steve Donahue on Fordham's list."
