Cornell Basketball in the News

WVBR ("The Voice of the Big Red") reports on Cornell's two recent commitments, including Miles Asafo-Adjei, above, an explosive 6'1" point guard from Nashville.

The Cornell Basketball Blog reports that the Cornell Big Red Men's basketball team today received two verbal commitments, upping its total of high school recruits for the year to 5. The two newest recruits are 6'1" Point Guard Miles Asafo-Adjei from The Ensworth School in Nashville, TN, and 6'6" Forward Errick Peck from Cathedral High School in Indianapolis, IN.

Asafo-Adjei and Peck join forwards Eitan Chemerinski, Peter McMillan, and Josh Figini as rising freshmen for the Big Red. In addition to those five high schools recruits, the Big Red, who lose five seniors this year, will also be strengthened by the addition of transfers G Max Groebe, formerly of UMASS, and PF/C Mark Coury, formerly of Kentucky. Both are practicing with the team and eligible to play next year.
