Cornell Basketball's season ticket prices have been announced to current season ticket holders.
For the 2009-2010 season, reserved seat tickets are sold at the price of $138 per seat. The women's season ticket can be added for an additional $10. With the $3 postage and handling fee, the package price is $151.
Here are the season ticket prices for this season's package over the past three seasons:
- 2009-2010 $151 (16% increase)
- 2008-2009 $130 (50% increase)
- 2007-208 $87
Note the jump in the 2008-2009 price after the Big Red's Ivy League '07-'08 championship season. The increase is smaller this year, but this season's ticket prices are still running well ahead of inflation.
The reserved red seat-backs were sold out every game last year. Due to the high demand for seating, Cornell responded with the announcement, "Cornell Athletics will be adding more seat-back reserved seating to Newman Arena for the 2009-10 season (rows 4-14 behind the Cornell and visiting team benches)."
Other NEW features included with season tickets this year include:
- VIP Newman Arena concessions & merchandise card--special offers and discounts during all games.
- Coach Steve Donahue's weekly newsletter.
- First opportunity to purchase from Cornell's NCAA Tournament ticket allotment--exclusively for season ticket holders.
The season is coming. I am ready. I sent in my renewal form today!
