Schedule Update: No Flynn Rematch for the Big Red

It is official, Syracuse guard Johnny Flynn is headed to the NBA after signing with an agent. Last season, Syracuse escaped a Cornell upset bid in the Carrier Dome on December 8 with an 88-78 win. The Big Red led Syracuse at half, 40-35. Leading the Orange charge was Flynn who scored 24, followed by fellow NBA departures Paul Harris with 21 points and Eric Devenedorf with 15 points.

Cornell played without Louis Dale and Adam Gore, but Ryan Wittman showcased his shooting range and carried Cornell with 33 points on an incredible 9 of 19 performance from downtown.

Ivy League Rookie of the Year, Chris Wroblewski (pictured above) was solid in 33 minutes, scoring 9 points (3/8 from the floor), dishing 4 assists (against 1 turnover) and grabbing 3 rebounds. He also collected 2 steals.

Cornell is expected to rematch with SU during 2009-2010.
