Recruiting News

First, we should mention that we will be updating daily our transfer list, so be sure to keep checking it out.

In commitment news, The Shorthorn reports that UT-Arlington signed Cameron Catlett, a 6'3" guard from San Antonio. According to some published reports, Catlett chose UTA over Santa Clara, Colorado State, Utah State and Cornell.

Rivals.com now lists class of 2010's Julian Boatner, a 6'0" 165 lb. guard from Bloomington North High School in Bloomington, Indiana on Cornell's radar screen. Boatner already has an offer from Navy and lists his other college suitors to include Rice, William & Mary, Wright State, Eastern Illinois, Eastern Kentucky and Princeton. He reportedly has a 3.9 GPA.

Scout.com is reporting St. Joseph's of Metuchen, N.J. guard, Steve Rennard has received his second scholarship offer. This week Vermont made the offer after he received an offer from Iona earlier this spring. Other schools showing interest according to Scout.com are Fordham, St. Francis of New York, Stony Brook, St. Francis of PA, Holy Cross, LaSalle, Davidson, Lafayette, Princeton, Brown, Penn, Lehigh, and Bucknell. Cornell was previously listed, but has not been mentioned recently.

ChicagoHoops.com reports that former teammate of Cornell's Chris Wroblewski, Josh Bartlestein, a 6'4" guard from Highland Park, Illinois and Phillips Exeter Academy just completed college visits to San Diego and Wagner. Bartlestein also holds offers from Sacramento State, UIC, and Elon. He is a member of the class of 2009, but was not recruited by Cornell according to sources close to the situation.
