One of Cornell's all-time most prolific scorers and Steve Donahue's first recruit as the Head Coach of the Big Red, Toppert's professional basketball stops included the Albuquerque Thunderbirds of the NBA Development League (2005-2006), Taranaki in New Zealand (2005-2006), Barreirense of Portugal (2006-2007), BC CSKA Sofia of Bulgaria (2007-2008) and the Great Falls Explorers of the Continental Basketball Association (2007-2008).
