BAD HISTORY
Penn had not been swept on an Ivy home weekend in 41 years until 2 weekends ago. Now, the Quakers have been swept on their last two home weekends. This time, they lost to Dartmouth on Friday and Harvard on Saturday, 66-60.
The Quakers had a chance against Harvard, but the Crimson made all the plays down the stretch. Harvard's star shooter, Jeremy Lin, playing on a sprained ankle, made a killer three with 35 seconds left and the four free throws that clinched it.
Penn (8-15, 4-5 Ivy) is 4-1 on the Ivy road and 0-4 at home. Penn is just 2-9 at the Palestra this season.
Penn made a nice second-half comeback to have a chance. Then Lin took it away. Jack Eggleston had 14 for Penn.
THE IVY RACE
After winning at Brown, 85-45, Cornell (8-2) has a two-game lead over the field with four to play. Penn is playing for pride.
