PROVIDENCE, R.I. — Cornell received 16 points from Jeff Foote, 15 from Ryan Wittman and a slew of contributions from everyone else in an 85-45 rout of Brown on Saturday at the Pizzitola Center.
Louis Dale scored 12 points, including the 1,000th of his career. Cornell improved to 18-8 overall and 8-2 in the Ivy League, and picked up a game in the standings on its closest competitors that was lost with Friday's defeat to Yale.
Yale beat Columbia, Dartmouth beat Princeton and Harvard beat Penn on Saturday to create a four-way logjam at second place. Columbia, Dartmouth, Yale and Princeton are all 6-4 in the league with four games remaining.
