From the Cornell Daily Sun:
This was supposed to be an excellent weekend for basketball — whether you are a spectator, participant or pontificator. You could watch the men’s basketball team close out the season hosting Penn and Princeton at Newman Arena tomorrow and Saturday. From the Pioneer Press:
Ex-Timberwolves coach Randy Wittman, on son Ryan, a former Eden Prairie basketball star who is a candidate for Ivy League player of the year as a junior at Cornell, in the New York Times: "The thing that's most enjoyable for my wife and myself is that when your kid goes off to college, the No. 1 thing is that you want them to enjoy the experience. Ryan ... is going to look back and be glad he chose this."From Fire Glen Miller, the Penn student run blog out of the idyllic college-setting, beautiful West Philadelphia:
[W]hile I get to go to Florida, Rosen, Belcore, and the gang get to tour the popular hotspots in Ithaca and the Upper West Side!
- Cornell Basketball Blog runs through the championship scenarios this weekend. Wait. Someone other than Cornell can still win this thing? The League is a lame dog, let's just put it out of its misery. This has dragged on way too long and is putting the League's unofficial title as "First Conference To Crown A Champion" in serious jeopardy. But its still intriguing to think that Penn could still play spoiler on Friday...
