Below, some recruiting news from around the Ivy League.According to Scout.com, St. Benedict's Prep (Newark, NJ) 6'7" forward, Gilvydas Biruta said he is receiving recruitment attention from Maryland, Rutgers, Davidson , Northwestern, as well as by Penn and Harvard. But right now he is not looking heavily at the Ivy schools. “I think maybe I want to go to a bigger basketball school,’’ Biruta said. “I think I could improve more at Maryland than at Harvard.’’
Scott Morris, a 6'2" guard from Walkersville, Maryland, committed to New Hampshire on Friday and is expected to sign his National Letter of Intent during next week’s Early Signing Period. He was also recruited by Air Force, Davidson, Harvard, Navy, and Siena.
