• Yale's Travis Pinick will compete for a roster spot in the NBA D-League's training camp for the L.A. Defenders. Pinick was selected in the final round (8th) with the third-to-last (14th) pick of the draft.

• Check out the Rush The Court national rankings and see where Cornell landed, as well as the Big Red's season opening opponent, the Alabama Crimson Tide. According to the site, Cornell will play three Top 75 teams in its Heaven's Eleven. HoopsReport.com says that Cornell's home opening opponent, Seton Hall, is a sleeper in the Big East.
