Recruiting News: Harvard Gets Fifth Verbal Commitment

Harvard has never won and Ivy League basketball championship and continues to struggle this season (3-7 Ivy League), but some recruits are willing to take the risk on committing to the Crimson program.

The Washington Post is reporting that Harvard received a verbal commitment this week from Christian Webster of the Landon School in Bethesda, Maryland. Webster is Harvard's fifth commitment this season and the the third wing forward to pledge to the Crimson.

Meanwhile, Scout.com is reporting that Trevor Gruis, a 6'9" post player from Ellsworth, Miinesota is hearing from South Dakota State, Minnesota, Bucknell and Cornell. His high school coach noted that South Dakota State is the most interested of the group recruiting him.
