We already reported that Jason Hartord ('08) is back in the United States after a successful rookie season with Huima in Finland's First Division. Currently Hartford is playing in the International Basketball League with the Yamhill High Flyers.Yamhill General Manager Eric Bailey told the Yamhill Valley News Register, “[Hartford's] sizing up to be one of the stars for our first-year franchise...[he] is extremely entertaining to watch. He has the complete game, and he can score from inside as well as outside, has great court vision and is a solid rebounder and defender.”
In Yamhill's home opener, Hartford finished with 38 points and 16 rebounds. The brief IBL season concludes on June 26.
