Below, some recruiting news around the Ivy League.

The Washington Post reports that Jeremy Underwood, a 6'0" guard from Coolidge HS in Washington committed to North Carolina A&T over offers from Cornell, Vermont, and Lafayette.

New England Recruiting Report breaks the news that Harvard received its second verbal commitment of the day. Laurent Rivard, a 6'5" wing is headed to Cambridge out of Northfield Mount Hermon School in Northfield, Massachusetts. Rivard was highly sought after by Cornell, Columbia and other Ivies.

While Rivard is considered a solid pick-up for an Ivy school, it is difficult to see how he will fit into a program stocked full of young players at shooting guard and wing forward. In fact, Rivard is the second player from his own high school team at Northfield Mount Hermon to commit to Harvard this year, and both players play the exact same position.

Also compounding the problem is just the size of Harvard's 2010-2011 roster. The Crimson will have at least 17 players, none of which will be seniors next season.
